Darien Cavanaugh received his MFA in poetry from the University of South Carolina. His fiction and poetry have appeared in The James Dickey Newsletter, Juked, Sou’wester, The Blue Collar Review, Pank, San Pedro River Review, The Dos Passos Review, Found Anew (University of South Carolina Press), A Sense of the Midlands (Muddy Ford Press), and other publications. He has served as a founding board member of Auntie Bellum magazine, a founding co-director of the Deckle Edge Literary Arts Festival, the founding director of the Columbia Broadside Project, and a managing editor of Yemassee and The Frank Martin Review. He currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City.
